FROSTED SALAD

2 boxes lemon gelatin

2 c. hot water

2 c. 7-Up cola

20 oz. can crushed pineapple (drained, save juice)

1 c. miniature marshmallows

2 bananas, sliced

Dissolve gelatin in hot water.  Add 7-Up to let it partially set.  Add pineapple, marshmallows and bananas.  Chill until firm.

Frosting:

1 c. juice (pineapple)

1/2 c. sugar

2 T. flour

1 egg

2 T. butter

2 c. whipping cream (whipped)

Cook sugar, flour, egg and juice until thick.  Cool and add whipped cream.  Spread on salad and garnish with cherries for added color.
