BEAN SALAD

1 can yellow wax beans

1 can chick beans

1 can kidney beans

1 can green beans

1 can Lima beans

1 med. onion, sliced

1 green pepper, slivered

Drain all beans real good.  Put in bowl.  Add pepper and onion.  Mix the following in a quart jar or shaker and pour into bean mixture.

Marinade:

1/2 c. water

1 1/2 c. sugar

1 1/2 c. vinegar

1/4 c. salad oil

Salt and pepper to taste

After marinade has been poured over beans, let stand for several hours in refrigerator.  Keeps well.
