BEEF STEW

1 lb. stew meat (cubed)

4 large potatoes (washed and cubed)

1 lg. can tomatoes

1 lg. can tomato sauce

1/2 c. celery (diced)

Flour

Salt and pepper

Place meat on cutting board and sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper.  Brown meat slightly in hot oil in deep pot.  Cover meat with 1 c. of water.  Cover pot and cook on medium heat for about 1 hour.  Uncover and add potatoes, celery, tomatoes, and tomato sauce.  Stir well.  Cover and cook approximately 45 minutes more.  Keep warm until you serve.
