CHOCOLATE PUDDING

3/4 c. sugar

1/4 t. salt

2 t. baking powder

2 T. cocoa

1/2 c. milk

3 T. melted butter

1 c. all-purpose flour

1 t. vanilla

Topping:

1/2 c. sugar

1/2 c. brown sugar

1/4 c. cocoa

1 1/2 c. water

Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and cocoa together in 9 inch square pan.  Stir in milk, butter and vanilla.  Spread in pan.  Mix topping (cocoa and sugars).  Sprinkle over batter.  Pour water over all.  Bake at 350 degrees for 40 or 45 minutes or until top springs back when touched.  Serve warm with ice cream or cool whip.
