CHOCOLATE 'N' OAT BARS

1 c. unsifted flour

1 c. quick-cooking oats

3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar

1/2 c. butter, softened

1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk

1 c. chopped nuts

1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 for glass dish).  In bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter.  Mix well.  Reserving 1/2 cup, press remaining oat mixture on bottom of 13 X 9 baking pan.  Bake ten minutes.  Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crust.  Sprinkle with nuts and semi-sweet chocolate morsels.  Top with remaining oat mixture; press down.  Bake 25-30 minutes or until lightly brown.  Cool.  Store covered at room temperature.
