PINEAPPLE DROP COOKIES
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 (9 oz.) can undrained pineapple
1 egg
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped nuts crushed
Cream sugar and shortening. Add pineapple and mix well. Add egg and mix. Sift flour with soda, salt and nutmeg. Add to mixture and mix well. Fold in nuts. Chill dough for two hours. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake 400 degrees.
